A&S currently provides local companies with a complete range of video equipment, supplying commodity items to other value-added re-sellers and clients. We are able to offer our clients a one-stop solution to their production requirements, putting together complete shooting kits or editing packages. This also includes system integration for projects requested by our clients, including portable production systems.

Used Equipment Sales

A&S currently trades in this very specialised area. Used Video Equipment is a niche market area for the value-added re-seller, where a good stock of properly serviced equipment is required in order to promote sales. Many clients purchase used equipment, not only to save money, but also due to the fact that many of the products purchased have been discontinued by manufacturers. A&S is able to service the clients’ requirements at a local level and continues to trade used equipment, allowing our clients to upgrade to the latest digital formats.

Distributorships

The company currently distributes various products throughout Asia. Over the last year A&S have managed to secure further distributorships of products for other territories outside Hong Kong. The product range includes Sony equipment, lenses, portable Microwave ENG links, Batteries, Glass Filters, lighting gels, Test and measurement equipment, Teleprompter systems and Fluid head tripods.

Hire of Broadcast RF Microwave Link Products

A&S Broadcast have partnered up with Total World Sports in the UK to form a new company (TWS Asia limited), which specialise in the supply of engineering and products for various events throughout Asia requiring digital point to point links and wireless camera systems. This company now currently rents the microwave products (with trained engineers) throughout Southeast Asia in addition to the Far East, and provides coverage for the promotion of the equipment on behalf of the manufacturer, whom we also represent for the Far East.

So far as general equipment hire is concerned A&S will continue to offer contracts to companies who wish to hire equipment.

Service Centre

Through Engineering support, A&S Broadcast is able to provide on and off-site engineering for both technical and repair work. In addition, the Hong Kong office is able to service equipment that is no longer in manufacturer production. This assists our clients and provides a full service to the local market. A&S are also able to provide assistance for system integration projects that are required by our clients. The company has two engineers on call for local requirements, and the company is also able to send out equipment for repair to several of its partners across the globe.

A&S offers 3 months warranty on used equipment (standard warranty) and 12 months warranty on all new equipment supplied. A&S is able to maintain the equipment purchased through us, and provide local maintenance for your facility. Spare parts can also be supplied where available.

The company has also completed system integration for local clients, and we are able to offer various tailor made solutions to meet your video requirements.
